We are a volunteer organization of concerned climate activists. Since 2015, the team has written and submitted thousands of LTEs to local newspapers, and we have been successful in getting a good percentage of them published. The team is open to anyone who wants to join us in this effort.
The primary goal of the Letters-to-the-Editor Team is to generate responses to news and opinion pieces that appear in the local press. Responses are in the form of collaboratively written letters to the editor (LTEs). We want to respond to press items that are related to climate change, energy policy, and environmental justice, for the purpose of amplifying the public's knowledge and awareness of our issues.
Here's how it works in a nutshell:
We welcome people with all levels of experience, and we provide training and support to help you get started. If you would like to join or need more information, please email administrator@ltesearch.org. We will add you to the team email list and send you instructions on how to get started.
The LTE Team is a project of 350 Massachusetts and the Third Act Massachusetts Working Group. If you would like to learn more about 350 Massachusetts or the Third Act Massachusetts Working Group, please visit their websites: 350 Massachusetts and Third Act Massachusetts.
